Confidence is BEAMING!

@Coulingknows 16/03/2015

Another weekend, another 3 points. Arsenal put 3 past the Hammers at the emirates on Saturday with a good performance.

Ramsey must have been rummaging through his wardrobe to find those glistening boots he sported last season as he had a great game. The beautiful frenchman scored the first after some superb link up play. Ramsey scored the second after good movement by giroud in the box and FLAMINI!!! finished off the coreing for the day. Good result and good performance.

We have all been here before though. After a good result and a nice run of form Arsenal normally fall short of what is needed in the bigger games coming up. Monaco being one of the biggest challenges. After gifting them a 3 - 1 lead in the first leg Arsenal have it all to play for. Plenty of people have written their chances off already. It will require one hell of a performance to pass this test.

You could say the pressure is no longer there as no one expects Arsenal to progress in the cup. Personally i think this will be a game of monumental importance. I stated in a previous blog that i expect Arsenal to reach the semi finals in the champions league, win the Fa Cup and finish in the top 3. I believe if they pull this off against Monaco there is no reason why we cannot get there.

The confidence in the squad looks very good. Arsenal now have their best home form since moving to the Emirates. That says a whole lot about this squad. Finally that click in the team has clicked. Better late than never, we weathered the storm for so long but now i think we can be optimistic and it be realistic.

Now most will say that the league is Chelsea's to lose and it is but.... i don't think they have the dangleys or the class not to fuck up a game or 2. Man city have gone right downhill and i think that is Pellegrini's time done. When you have a billionaire owner and you have spent all of his money on players you need to win the league. If you don't then its time to rewrite that CV. I would think that if Mourinho doesn't win the league he will be sacked. The League cup being the only silverware in 2 seasons? I know a trophy is a trophy but surely that is not good enough for a "world class" manager and team.

But back onto the gunners. Tuesday night cannot come quick enough and i hope for a memorable win.

Have a good beginning of the week people!
