I think i maybe talking about something that several other people have already raised. Including @ArsenalAdam23 on twitter who also talks a lot of sense so give him a follow.
But moving on... we now have quite a set up with regards to full backs. After struggling all of last year with minimal options the club brought in Chambers and Debuchy into the squad and Hector Bellerin grabbing that opportunity he was given with both hands, we have a little picking problem for the boss. I rate Gibbs very highly but with Monreal getting better and better even the choice between them 2 is becoming increasingly difficult. With Gabriel pushing for a space as a centre back and another defender on the summer shopping list we will finally have some depth in defence. Problem is, well if you can call it a problem, is where will Jenkinson fit back into the squad? A fast tall, strong full back who towards the end of last year started to look good and has carried that form into his loan spell at west ham. He is young, English and going to become very good in my eyes.

Could we really afford to let him go?
Goalkeeper wise i feel we are miles away from a word class keeper. Ospina is good but he is not Arsenal good. I cannot see us winning Major trophies with him between the sticks. You never want to see much of your goalkeeper but they have to be quality to dive in when needed. A dream situation for me is for Wenger to swipe away Lloris.
He could replicate the fairytale story that Sol Campbell first did. He won the league at white hart lane but it was not with spurs. Lloris is an excellent keeper and he is wasted at Tottenham. he should be playing for trophies and with his class he has to be in the champions league. You never know what will happen but i would love to see that on deadline day.
All in all it is a long time overdue. A defence that does not make you quiver is something i have long been pining for. When William Gallas was captain in our defence i shit myself every game. So now i feel a lot better.
Up next we have West ham at home and hopefully a comfortable victory over them will line the boys up for a super performance which is needed in Monaco next week.
