So after Arsenal turned over Manchester united in the Fa cup on Monday night i thought i was set for a very good week. Work was going OK, my boy doing very very well at school, i found a pound and on Tuesday night i saw the Madrid fans boo their players. Things were good.
However i sit next to a Chelsea fan, one of those Chelsea fans who only really talks about them when they are winning or when they beat Arsenal. I do not think i could handle any talk about the Champions league with him. I am happy to talk to anyone about football but do not try and take the piss unless you know what your on about. Arguing with someone who has no clue is the last thing i want to do. So i was backing PSG and hoping for Ibra to have a huge performance and tear the Chelsea defence apart. In this instance this did not happen and he was sent off for a tackle on Oscar.
Oscar should hand his bollocks over as he no longer needs them. The way he threw himself around like a little girl makes me wonder what is happening to the world. This is a man (who grabs his sister's ass admittedly) who believes its OK to act like that? Either i am wrong or everyone believes its OK to be a tart from now on. When i was growing up if i got kicked or hit i made sure i walked it off and didn't show i was hurt. I wasn't going to let them see me wimper like a little bitch. The worse thing is my boy Callum plays for a local team and during his training you see his team mates dive, they are 5! Kids look up to these players who "con" the referee in booking the opposing player or giving a free kick. We saw the same on Monday night with Di Maria and Januzaj.
Over the past few weeks Chelsea is a club that has found themselves under more scrutiny than ever before. The racist chanting and the incident on the Metro in France is something that will never go away and with the teams current performances its no surprise its a club not receiving alot of good coverage. The fact the whole team ran over to the referee to get Zlatan sent off shows the desperation of the team who committed to the game in the wrong way.
It was also very nice to see Diego Costa get a slap or 2 from David Luiz. If only we still had certain centre backs still in the league who will give him a hard time.
But Chelsea went tumbling out to 10 man PSG and Chelsea deserved it. The chap who received the abuse from the Chelsea thugs in France was offered tickets to the game but turned them down and if i had to travel oversea's somewhere, Stamford bridge would be the last place i would want to go. Unless they were playing Bradford at home of course.
So what started out to be a decent week turned out to be a very good week and with my current workload under control work wise i am sat very happy for once.
Arsenal wise i have read this week that Gabriel is due to return to the squad this week and hopefully pushes Mertesaker aside for West ham this weekend so we can aim for a 7th straight league win at home and puts us very comfortable in the league before we perform the miracle needed at Monaco next week.
