The gap between the bottom and the top is getting much smaller

Remember when the top teams had the "easy" games every season. Man city at home in the early 00's, bolton, wigan and Fulham. Teams that always faced the drop every year. Another side the top teams could just brush aside. Score lines were ridiculous.

Nowadays and I think its great for competition, you don't have these teams like Derby during the 2007-08 season where they could only muster up 1 win in 38 games.

No that doesn't happen anymore. Instead you are faced with teams like Stoke away which has to be a fixture every player would never look forward to. Aston Villa even pulled a few magic results out of the bag. Sunderland ruined Jose Mourinho's unbeaten home record at Stamford Bridge in the league. Arsenal got turned over TWICE by Swansea last year.

The year before that everyone beat Manchester united at Old Trafford. West Brom, Everton, Newcastle, Spurs, Stoke and Sunderland all won at Old Trafford that year. Manchester united were poor but this proves my point.

The difference is no longer there. Mourinho's Chelsea last year was one of the most boring teams I have seen win the league. When you go 1-0 up and park the bus to hold on to your lead its boring football. A tactic we all hate but it won them the league. When you look back at it though you can see why they did, other teams dropping points against, dare I say lesser teams? It has increased competition and I love it. Even if Arsenal get turnt over at home by west ham.

I cannot see anybody becoming the second invincibles in this league any time soon. For the football fanatic its a great competition. To all the "fan boys" everyone but the club they support is shit. If you do support a team in the premiership make the most of it and pull your head out of your arse and watch some superb football and learn to appreciate it!?

This year I cant see an out and out favourite for relegation. It should be a fantastic season and even the future champions will have to work their bollocks off to win it this year. It wont be Liverpool though, that I am sure of.

Cheers people!!
