Disappointment will occur in Football.

@Coulingknows 26/02/2015

So last night we saw Arsenal ruin their own dreams with a pitiful performance at the Emirates against Monaco in the last 16 of the champions league.

It is times like this i feel my life would be a lot easier if i didn't follow football but then again it does keep interesting. I have always known that every fan wants their team to win everything they play in, of course they do that's the whole point of being a supporter. Whether its the micky mouse League cup, FA Cup, Champions league or domestic league you want them to win the lot. When they do, what next? It is not something that you can complete its an ongoing thing and knowing this or even thinking about means at some point or another your club will hit a low, whether that's getting knocked out of the cup or getting turned over by a rival and even the odd embarrassing 4 - 2 loss at home to Bradford.

As football fans we will all experience disappointment, unfortunately as an Arsenal fan this is more frequent and tends to always be in the big games. Last night again proving that point.

I am not sure really what to say about the result except a miracle will need to occur for us to qualify and depending what Arsenal team turns up i am pretty sure we will be able to tell the outcome after the first 10 minutes of play.

Last night you saw a squad who thought they would breeze through this round and now they are chasing the game. The excitement for the return leg in Monaco will be something else, Arsenal will now be under dogs and they have nothing to lose so i am expecting a HUGE performance. If that doesn't occur then they will all need to look at themselves, it's far from acceptable.

The next post will be one of a better mood and hopefully beaming of positivity as this morning at work was AGAIN difficult as i got the normal piss take about the game.

So up the gunners and on to the QPR game next Wednesday.
