The Painful side of being a football fan

Disappointment

@Coulingknows 10/02/2015

Now as i am sure you are all aware i am an Arsenal supporter and on Saturday Arsenal lost. It wasn't an embarrassing loss in a cup to a lower league team like Bradford or Middlesborough, No it was nothing that extreme but embarrassing non the less.

The North London Derby is something that i never enjoy until Arsenal players are stood there after 90 mins with their hands held high in victory. Apart from that moment i despise the whole game time. Its not a cup final for Arsenal, its a game we are always expected to win. This does show how  one sided this rivalry is. Very much like the Manchester derby until "Citeh" had a bored rich man throw money at them.

Even still, we lost. Its the most recent defeat so as fans we should all take it on the chin and allow them the bragging rights until we meet next time. I mean i did have those "bragging rights" for a long time. We even won the league at their ground!? So we should let them have their moment.

It was far from a great performance from Arsenal and a complete change to the 3 previous games. I was unfortunately unable to visit white hart lane this year so i took my boy down the local watch it. Lets hope we just strengthen up and try and shrug off that that poor result and push forward. Arsenal welcome Leicester to the Emirates tonight and only a win will do. With Man united dropping points Arsenal cannot let any points slip. Its coming to home run of the season and apart from the cups we still have a lot to do in the league. Never comes easily.

Keep the faith and remind yourselves of the back to back 5 - 2 wins that we all lavishly enjoyed but remember you have to take the good with the bad.

Leicester next and i reckon Ozil will nab 4 goals in 4 games.

Take care people, will update tomorrow
