Time to step it up

Underdogs?

@CoulingKnows  18/02/2015

So i have given it a day to sink in, Arsenal have drawn Manchester united away in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. From the people i follow on Twitter you would have thought we had already lost the game. Negativity is one way how i feel people like to deal challenges. If you think your going to lose and you do, you was right in your prediction. Well done. But if you win after stating that your team will lose, your wrong but are now in a position where it no longer matters. Playing it safe. Myself on the other hand, always an OPTIMIST i like to think with the current crop of talent at the Emirates we stand one hell of a chance to turn over the worst team united have had in years.

Individually the players are class but as a team? I do not think they will get there anytime soon especially with Luis Van Gaal managing the squad. Di Maria won the champions league last season, played in the world cup final and had to COME BACK from a goal down at Preston. Falcao at Atletico Madrid was a fantastic player but he has followed the same path as Torres. Fernando Torres was a goal machine at Liverpool but could not hit a barn door at Chelsea, now back at Atletico he starts scoring including 2 goals against Real Madrid. When you have a striker of some class you have to play to his strengths, unfortunately like everyone else no one knows what his strengths are?

Even still, i think Arsenal will run riot. If we keep up the tempo and prevent man united from playing the long ball to Fellaini (which seems to be their desperation and winning tactic) we should jump over this hurdle and make our way to Wembley for the semi's. I just think the winning mentality has fallen away over the trophy baron years but we will come good in this fixture. Just a shame i seem to be the only one.

But onto the present, i managed blag the TV from the other half last night so i didn't have to sit through eastenders and watched the PSG Chelsea match instead. Personally i found this match pretty boring and i think Chelsea were very lucky to come away with a draw. The Zlatan show is needed now on the return game at Stamford bridge if they are to progress further, or they could adopt Bradford tactics. Either way it will involve a lot of movement to get through that Chelsea bus which i am sure will be parked heavily.

Now i didn't see this until this morning but there was a lot of talk about the "Chelsea Racists". I was sent a link on Twitter showing Chelsea fans pushing a man off the train and chanting "We're Racists and that's the way we like it!" I can feel for Chelsea fans who are just like every other football fan and not thugs. Chelsea FC obviously completely condemn the behaviour but it is very hard to do anything about it when the damage has been done and reputation tarnished. I have walked up to Stamford Bridge on a match day when Arsenal played there earlier this season and its not a nice place to be when your the opposing fans. You always hear foul language and middle age men giving it billy big bollocks on match day and i am sure a lot of them probably would stamp the life out of me but i have way too much to lose so always stay away from trouble. With #ChelseaRacists currently trending in the UK it is another tag they will not be able to get rid of.
Diaby Kicking racism out
This week i have been contacting other footballing websites and bloggers and in my search i have found some excellent posts/blogs. As you can all tell mine is very light hearted and i try and bring something a little different to your ordinary review of a game. Google+ is a format i am currently looking to get to grips with and with the community pages and Google's circle feature i think it can be a great way to find like minded Gooners and football fans in general. My page link is here on the right so by all means have a nosey i think it will come good for football discussions and media.

Tonight i will be launching Youtube Channel and that link will be posted on my Twitter page so if your interested keeps your eyes out and hopefully i can entertain you all. Or i will crash and burn and become too scared to leave my house, either way i would recommend you have a watch.

I do like to mix it up a bit with my posts on here and a fella that works at the same firm as me does a few videos on the regular and recently had one shared on the Lads bible and stacked up a good 6 Million+ views. "Tucker loves a vid" is his page on Facebook and he is definitely worth a like on his page.

Again please like, share, tweet or whatever you want to do.

Thanks for reading
