Now i am sure like everyone else we are tired of the endless stories and players being connected with Arsenal during these transfer windows. Idleness within the sport generates a lot of shite and the journo's do come up with a lot of bollocks just to get tongues wagging. So far i can recall seeing Arsenal going in for Zlatan who i absolutely love as a player but cannot see that transfer happening. I hope i am wrong but cant see it occuring. Carvalho, Cech, Higuain and Kondogbia. Now they would all be fantastic signings but with Arsene being the way he is, we will only know what he wants you to know which basically means until a contract is signed they will say fuck all. I just hope a big name or 2 find their way into the new Puma Arsenal shirts.
Petr Cech has appearantly agreed personally terms whcih will make him Arsenals biggest earner but a fee is yet to be agreed between the two clubs. He would be a magnificent signing for Arsenal. As much as i like Ospina i think Cech is a much higher level. Cracking keeper and kept us from scoring against Chelsea for years.
The rest of the signings will follow as we can see over the past couple of years now that money is available we are buying clever. Young English players like Chambers and Welbeck who will become very good players and Alexis Sanchez being the stand out buy last year shows promise for the clubs future with regards to transfers. Ozil the year before and that was a complete suprise to me as i cannot remember the last time we brought in a star. We normally make them.
Now i am not going to do a favorite starting 11 as i think i can only wittle it down to 15 and lets be honest i am not the manager so who i think should start is irrelevant. I just know some of the players we have are superb. Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud, Rosicky, Coquelin, Kos, The Ox and the list goes on. The current squad is 10 times better than the squad of 4-5 years ago.
Success has been proven, we just need to lift more trophies and i think this season with the odd signing we are due a very very good season.
