Barca sting us once again

+Stephen Couling (CoulingKnows)

Again the Catalan giants beat Arsenal. Its something that is happening far too often for any Arsenal fans liking. Apart from the bad officiating and simulation, it was a tense and good game. By simulation, i mean rolling round like a little bitch or diving. Jordi Alba my eyes are on you.

Now most know I'm not the sort to get too upset with football results as i like to stay composed. Tonight however after watching that i am fucking livid. Not only did i read an excellent article about Barcelona in the evening standard earlier this week i had my mind already made up on this top team. I tried my best to see past the appealing and play acting but i cant do it. Even the great Messi was appealing for a player to be carded. Pull your head out of your ass. I know winning is everything but is winning in such a bad way really worth it?

Hats off to Arsenal tonight, however, especially in the first half i though they were very good. Just could not finish the chances they created. The better chances i feel but in the second half, you could see it was just a matter of time. They showed way too much respect for the opponent. You can't do that. You should be kicking lumps out of Dani Alves to let him know your there. Make sure if he does go for a tackle he will feel it and then you will see if Champions really do have courage in their nut sack.

I would have loved to have seen Gabriel play this evening as i think he has the grit to make strikers feel uncomfortable. He will always get a bit of you when he goes in for a tackle.

Now on to what everyone else was thinking. Why on earth did he bring Flamini on? With Chambers playing so well recently would he not have been the better option? Welbz should have come on a lot earlier as he is always a threat. A few runs and he had those Barca defenders flapping all over the place. Pique is out of the next leg because of that foul on Danny as it was the only way they could stop him.

I know we are 2-0 down and my twitter timeline showed no support for the team at all. If you're in a mind frame of "oh well, maybe next year" then you need to go digging for a backbone. Barcelona is a team of 11 players. Same as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Very good teams but not unbeatable. No one is invincible. We support Arsenal Football Club. A team pushing to win the Barclays premier league and retain the FA Cup for the third year running. If you cannot support the team you "love" then you need to ask yourself why.

It was a shame seeing Arsenal fans leave the ground early but who has the right to criticise? Keyboard warriors stating that the die hard fans are leaving early instead of supporting their team when your sat at home in your underwear slagging all the players off on Twitter. Put some clothes on and take a look at yourselves. I would love to go to every match and those people who do can do whatever the hell they wish. They spend the time and money to be in the stands and support their team in all weather while we prop up the bars in public houses or sit comfy in our armchairs. The fans were excellent tonight the atmosphere is exactly what you want to hear.

Now on to Old Trafford for another big game and hopefully, we will come up top trumps here as we need to show why we deserve to lift that trophy this year.
