Pull those socks up

So we are now getting to the sweaty part of the season and to everyone's surprise Leicester are still flying high. Teams like Arsenal, Man city and some other club that i cant remember (or wish not to mention) have cup games still remaining stacking up the fixtures leading towards the end of the season. Leicester only have the premiership to worry about and you cannot help but think they hold the advantage.

I cannot write this without mentioning the absolute spectacle i saw last night when West Ham dumped Liverpool out of the FA Cup. Hats off to Bilic and the hammers for that performance. Proper magic for the FA Cup.

Swiftly moving on i admit i have not posted for a while as i have had a few things going on. First off the new year wasn't bad but come the 4th of January i decided to leave my employer. No notice needed as i was in my probationary period and without going into too much detail i couldn't handle the people. So my bollocks grew for a moment and i left my keys, walked out of the office with an ear to ear grin on me with an aura of "not my problem anymore". We all need to work but you could not pay me enough to stay in that situation.

I felt alive, i felt like i was taking control of my career and for the first time i didnt need to stay or bend over backwards to keep a job i hated. Never walked out of a job before but now i can see i have done it and it felt quality. Until i got home and realised i was now unemployed. Hasty on my nehalf i know. Luckily walked into another job that is demanding but im a lot happier and to be honest as long as i get paid every month and i can progress as a professional i feel it works well for both parties.

So i started the year well. Well except my 2 day stint of unemployment but other than that im happy with the start of 2016 on a personal level. Arsenal however seemed to fuck up the rest of it for me. I was still reeling from the drumming we got at Southampton on Boxing day as i never saw that result coming. Then a run of bad games just made matters worse. Everyone else was winning and we were mustering up draws and still managed to lose to fucking Chelsea!! That result hurt more than the others. A good result at Bournemouth last week shows hope but lets be honest when you are trailing Tottenham you have to worry. If they finish higher than Arsenal this season then i can only imagine the world will end. It is just not natural. We may have become abit cocky over the years when it comes to spurs but lets be honest they have been in our shadow for so long you forget that they are there. Even when Flamini scores 2 to put them out of the capital one cup this season. He scored a volley. YES A VOLLEY FROM FLAMINI!

It has been a topsy turvy league this year and i still think it is Arsenals to lose. Cannot take anything away from Leicester they have been superb this year and they definitely deserve a champions league spot. Not many teams school Manchester City at the Etihad and that needs to be acknowledged.

Transfer deadline day has become a little dull over the last few windows and i don't know if that is because Arsenal are getting their business done early or if its because i have just lost interest in teams buying players to stay up.

Arsenal host Leicester this weekend and Arsenal have no choice but to win to stay in contention to win the league. I think for the gunners its all on this fixture. I cannot see Tottenham winning anything. There is some sense behind that statement but i am also hoping because we will never hear the end of it.

I will be sure to post more often now as i have left a long old time but again anything you disagree with just tweet me @coulingknows. Unless your just daft as you cannot argue with stupid.

In the meantime take some time out of your day to find a Chelsea fan and take the piss, it's the least they deserve.
